Asking For A Little Bit Of Patience Here

To all STS Corvette Forum members and visitors coming to this alternative Corvette Forum and contemplating joining up. Please be patient while we try to build this forum. I can tell you it won't happen over night here. Right now as of November 18 we have 10 members but we are growing. I see some who have joined haven't been back to post or back to try to ad little something to help this forum out to keep it alive. Remember this forum is for you and you alone. I gain nothing here in running this FREE FORUM. There will be no Gestapo Tactics used on this forum by any moderator like they are being used on the other Corvette Forum. There is money being exchanged at the other Corvette Forum by the Vendors and Dealers who advertise there. They have the final say and tell the Moderators there what they want. If it means banning you for saying the wrong thing there the Moderators there will follow through as we all have seen.  Its all about them the (Supporting Vendors) there as we have all saw this first hand. LOOK! I am not asking anyone to leave the other forum. I personally don't want anyone to do that.  I am just offering an althernative Corvette Forum here where the truth can be spoken no matter what and without having a Moderator looking over your shoulders as to what you post.  

Again I ask for your Patience while we build this forum. If you have Corvette friends who you feel will eventually benefit from this forum please send them a link to this forum so that they may find their way here.  Thanks, Fred

As most know on this forum we now have 19 members as of Dec 28,2008.

It would be nice if more members would participate in adding a thread or post to keep this forum going. That is how you build a forum. Sure it may be easier to just go to a Corvette Forum that has been up already for many years with thousands of members but at that type of forum as many have found out some things have been lost like your right to speak about certain things that I have mentioned about in other posts on this forum. Being a member here you are an owner of this forum. You can't really say that of the other forums out there. That is why 19 other members have already found their way here to this forum. Most are looking for what some of the other forums lack anymore. Members here should be incouraging other Corvette owners  to come to this forum to help build it up. Why not send them a email or PM on another forum with a link to this forum? It can't hurt to do so.

You need members to make this work. I know since I run another forum on the net for the town I grew up in. That forum is running strong and members all got there mostly by word of mouth as I haven't really advertised that forum other then on Active Board the same as this forum. As many of you can see this forum has been getting plenty of hits everyday now from visitors for only being up a little over 3 months. The search engine Google even lists it now when someone does a search because they see plenty of visitors coming over here. We have visitors coming here not only from the USA but from other countries who want to see what we are trying to do here. Let's make it work. smile
