I am in process of lifting body off of 64 and will refresh and fix any frame problems, clean, POR-15, etc. Also replace tank, lines, brakes, hoses, pumps, heater core. Plan on leaving stock brakes and steering. Suspension completely replaced in 1997 by previous owner and only a few hundred miles on car since. I plan on between 3 to 5 grand since I am not doing any upgrades or paint jobs. I have limited experience with vendors would appreciate recommendations of the best ones to deal with.
Paragon, ZIP, Corvette Central, Ecklers, Corvette America, Bair's, Keen, Mid America Motorworks, Vette Brakes & Parts, Doc Rebuild, just to name a few.

brettq, I have had some good experience over the years and some bad experience with Corvette Vendors. When thinking of what Corvette Vendors treated me the best right off the top of myt head I would have to say the best are Wilcox, Corvette America, Zip, Central Corvette and Virginia Vette parts. I had a very bad experience with Long Island (LICS) and a non Corvette Vendor Diamond Back Tire. You can read about my experience with these 2 Vendors if you scroll below in the forum to the topic (Corvette Part Vendors - - - Who treats you the best?)

I talked with Zip today about a discount but the only problem is I live in VA so I get hung with the 5% state sales tax. They will give me a 10% because of the large order but can't help me with the tax part so I guess I will now look at one of the out of state vendors so I can actually realize the 10% savings.
