I can't take the credit on the actual work. My friend owns THE CORVETTE SHOP up in Montgomery NY. Heres the progress so far:

Its actually a 415 Bill Mitchel World Products Motor. She dynoed at 522bhp with the old manifold and a Huge carb. I have had the motor in the car for about a year and decided to lose the kiddy chrome. I am doing a full frame off to the 64 so I figured I would make it look somewhat more stock. The old 327 was long gone when I bought it several years back.
Heres a Pic from before:

Man I would love to feel what kind of punch that motor delivers. The last engine in any car I have owned that impressed me was the 427-435hp BB engine in my '69 Coupe back in the day. Cruising at 80 miles an hour just on the center 2 barrel carb and then stepping on it for the other 2 barrels to kick in the Tri-Power factory set up was like getting shot out of a cannon. People who rode with me could not believe the raw power that engine had. I bet people plenty of times that they would have a hard time touching the dash once I kick it in. To this day I run into old friends that witnessed that power back in the day around the 1971 period. They still talk about their experience it seems everytime they see me at a car show or cruise. biggrin
