I would have no problem going with either brand of Good Year or BF Goodrich tire. I am running BF Goodrich on my Street Rod and like them. They look great and ride nice. One of the Company's I will not recommend especially for the older Corvettes are tires that come from Diamond Back. I have had problems with them that they would not make good on. I can never recommend them to anyone ever again as I have in the past. They don't stand by their tires.

You know if I was on the other Corvette Forum I could not say what I have said here. I would of been repremanded and given a time out or banned from said forum. I laughed the other day when that (Yo Yo) Moderator (SaveWave) from said forum recommended Diamondback Tires to a Corvette Forum member in a Thread about Coker and Diamondback tires. Don't forget Diamondback is a Supporting Vendor over there at that forum. As I have mentioned in the past the Supporting Vendors tell the Moderators what to do over there. I know I have been there. Diamondback complained about me informing members of the problems I have had with Diamondback. I was told that I spoke about it too much by SaveWave. Well when someone would ask about them in a Thread I would tell my story to them if that was too much. I guess I was suppose to shut up never telling anyone about my problem although it was never resolved. Then again I am not feeding that forum like DB is in what ever the forum charges them in advertising fee's every month. That will never happen here.

I had BF Goodrich on my 32 Ford Streetrod and they were great. I have Yokohama S-Drive 225/50X17" on my 65 coupe. They are very performance rated. Like them also. I have also had Goodyear Eagles and they were good tires.
