How do you find time to work on your car?

Seems like lately I don't have the time to work on my car. It's starting to really bother me too. I have built hot rods, street rods, and messed with motorcycles in the past but lately I can't find the time I use to have. Is it because I'm getting older? What's up with this? Too many honey-do's, son needs help with his truck, chores around the house, working extra hours, etc. I need to retire!!!!

Ken this sounds like part of a post that I answered in a thread about you doing up your engine or buying a crate motor recently.

With me I don't have a lot of time to work on my vehicles anymore either it seems.  Well I haven't had a lot of time for sure over the last 8 years to be honest with everyone do to illnesses to both my mother and father. My father recently passed away on Dec.31th as some of you know.  The last 2 years were the worst of the 6 previous years though.  Dealing with the Estate now is taking alot of my time. Hopefully I will find more time this Spring to do the things I want to do like maybe driving my Classic Cars a little more then I have over the last few years. Don't forget I live in the North East also so from November till sometime Mid April they sit covered in my barn because of the Winter Weather.

As far as my Collector cars are concerned they are all in pretty good shape. Not many more things that I am looking to do to them. Sure there is work if I am looking for it but nothing in dire need. I would like to change the clutch out on the '67 at some point but for how much I use the car I can put that off. I have a new clutch and pressure plate kit sitting on the shelf when I am ready though. That is probably the only need I really need to do to the '67  as I have caught up with everything else when I was able to find the time to do so over the years. One of the last things I did to the car was replace the Antenna mounting plate last Fall that was worked on previously by Bubba I would say. Well I can say it was replaced with a new piece that looks right now under the rear drivers quarter and works properly now.
