Ok I need some help right now. Who on this forum knows anything about Big Block Chevy's. Alright here's the deal. In my local Craigslist someone has a 427 short block listed for sale that he claims came out of a 68 Corvette. He also claims it is in great shape and it is selling for a hundred dollars. You heard right $100. I am getting a little itchy right now. Please help me with some info because I just might want to make a move on it. Here is the exact listing as listed on Craigslist.
Chevy 427 short block less heads. stock w/ moroso 12 qt. oil pan - $100
This is a 427 block, crank, cam, 12to1 pistons, rods, timing chain and cover and a Moroso 12 qt. oil pan. Good shape. Needs to be honed and cleaned. Casting numbers are : 3963512. 4 bolt main. Out of a 68 vette. Call if interested :xxx-ooo-xoxo
