Holley 770cfm street avenger?

Was just wondering if the Holley 770cfm street avenger would be good for a 383 stroker motor. Any opinions?

I have the Holley Street Avenger 670cfm on my '67 and love it. I have a Holley 750 cfm in my Street Rod but I don't know the part number since I purchased one of the GM ZZ4 series Crate Motors for my Rod from someone who never put it in the designated car a '70 Nova it was suppose to go in. It came with the brand new Holley 750cfm still in the box. I paid $2100 biggrinfor the new motor still in the crate and another $150 biggrinfor the New Holley still in the box. Not a bad deal I would say but that was 1992. Didn't start my new motor up until 2003 though. I have less then 2,000 miles on it today 5 years later. For what I use my cars for I am happy with both Holley Carbs. No complaints.

Hi Ken, I guess you ordered that motor you posted on the forum. I have a 350 with Trick Flow Kit on mine rated at around 400HP and Torgue. I like mechanical secondaries but I ain't a tuner/ mechanic but I used to tune my and few of my buddy's race bikes and I find the 750DP Holley quite easy to jet and play with. I like to feel the secondary kick in. Surely that engine will easily pull that size carb no problem and you can adjust the street avenger with changing the vacuum secondary springs I had a 670. I just never really liked it. That's just my opinion buddy and you will get all kind OPINIONS on that ?

Thanks for setting this up so I'll have a place to go if I ever get kicked off tha forum
