Cut my front springs 1/2 coil to get 1" lower?

Any advice on cutting front coil springs to lower my 65 coupe 1" in front? I don't want to have to re-cut but I do want to stay 1 to 1 1/2" lower.

I used a cutting torch to take one link out of my coil springs that I used in building my Street Rod. You can cut them also with a grinder it will just take a little longer. You can also use one of the air muffler clamp cutters with the thin blade.
