I don't get this shizt? So its a law forcing "we the people" to buy a consumer product, ie health insurance. If "we the people" have to buy our own health insurance, we does the government say the bill will cost $980bn?

So now some states are going to sue the fed claiming tha the "new law" is unconstitutional.......thats bs.......we are forced by law to buy another consumer product auto insurance.

Most Americans will agree that we need some adjustment in health care.I also blame republicans when they had control during the Bush administration . They could have covered the major issues without much pain to anyone . That all said ,I've never in my life witnessed such a sham on the American public as has taken place the last two weeks .I question if there are any honest people representing us at all .There we're some Democrats that didn't vote for health care ,that took some courage .Or did they vote that way because re election is coming up .

I wasn't 100% happy with Bush but voted for him twice rather then Vote a Democrat in. Same in the last election I really didn't care for McCain a Republicrat or moderate 100% but gave him my vote. I did not like his bill written with the late Senator Kennedy in giving Illegal Immigrants a Amnesty. I don't believe in giving Law Breakers the same status that we Legal Americans have. Sorry. Come in the front door not the back. Obama is a Obamanation to the US. Pelosi and Reid have to go they are bums. I never in my life saw us sold down the River as what I have witnessed since the half White and Black Man with no papers (birth certificate) started calling the shots around here. Hopefully someone will be able to stop this Obamacare before it gets going. I agree Republicans had full reign and did nothing. People were pissed at Bush for the War and for not doing anything I feel about the outsourcing of jobs and manufacturing to China and India and wherever. I didn't like Bush's stand on Illegal Immigration either. He was right on with the Democrats with that also. Thee Dems couldn't of had a better friend. Now that we got this Health Care thing shoved down our throats Illegal Immigration is up next. Obama already told the Hispanic Democratic Representatives that he bought and sold to vote for his Obamacare that he will give an Amnestty to the Illegals. Well I don't agree with him doing that either. What a basterd of a president if I ever saw one. He truly Sucks. He could care less what the people want. I sure hope all those people who pulled the lever for him are happy now. From what I can see many are really sorry now as they drunk the Kool-Aid when he was preaching bull$hit before the election. Not the kind of change most people wanted. Sold a bill of goods of promises he can't deliver and then some. I still believe he is the Anti-Christ as stated in the Bible. Call me a nut but something is not right with that fellow. You can just tell by looking at him and listening to him. Something ain't right.

Not sure this is a bad idea. Health care needs a shake-up. I pay over $1,600 for my family each month. Then Dental and Vision is an additional $300 per month. This is for 4 people. Then there are co-pays for visits, drugs, etc. There has to be a better way and maybe this isn't the answer but at least there is some thinking going on. Change is needed not only for those who can't afford insurance but for those who pay through the nose for it. Maybe the big shake-up will get some attention and help to find a better plan?

I have 100% coverage for all my medical needs provided by the VA.. In my case I don't need the Obama health scare......government has never ever made life better for "we the people" they were against us from the begining.
Thats why the 2nd Amendment............they the government wanted all of the patriots to turn in thier arms to the new government......the "people" said no.
Health insurance in general has always been a bad idea, thats why you now have to pay $2,000 a month for it........its out control. It became a cash cow for the health care industry.........HMO's come to mind.
As soon health insurance got established the medical "profession" ran with it. Oh, boy we can charge anything that we want.........the rest is history.
Then it became a battle between the "doctors" and medical insurance industry. Thus leading to extreme expenses, and all manner of un realistic tests and procedures.
This is a game that "we the people" can not win... Obama is a plight on the planet and the socialist party that he leads is the end of what little freedoms that still exisit in this country.
Because you can afford $2000 a month your going to be paying for those who can't the government by the very nature of being government can not provide anything as they have nothing but the "peoples" money........do you see why "we the people" can not win this game.........

BUT, my 2 live-in grown children can't get full time jobs with benefits so I end up paying through Cobra. That will end soon for my daughter and my son has 1 more year. I am trying to find county, state, and federal help but since they live at home I can't get it. I can't kick them out as they can't afford to live away from home. Good old Kalifornia, land of the take all the money you have and give nothing in return. Yet the people who live south of the border can move into the state and get free medical because they are poor. It makes you understand that someone is paying for that free medical, YEP, ME! And all the other hard working people who pay high insurance rates so the Doctors and Hospitals and Drug Companies can make up for the freebies.

In government when thiers a new appointment it means new office furniture.. Theres plenty of old office furniture in huge government warehouses, but if you are a new appointee, and you have "used" furniture it means you're just a token Czar with no real power........thats how government works..

Problem is the closest VA facility is almost 3 hours away. That would be 6 hours round trip to just go to the Doctor. My brother died in a VA hospital in San Diego 2 years ago. He was being treated for kidney stones and dies of a heart attach. Never had any heart problems his entire life. He was 60 years old.
