As I grew up I was a Democrat but more of a Kennedy fan than a true Democrat. As I got older, Ronnie Regan caught my fancy and I turned into a Republican. Now that I am past 60 and have heard way too much BS from both parties, I wonder what kind of situation we would be in if there were no such thing as a 2 party system. Everyone votes based on the person (s) they want in office and the senate and house vote on the bills VS which party takes which side. Rather than bumping heads just because that is the way of the respective party. Yes, I know little about politics but it seems pretty obvious things don't get done with a 2 party system. And it costs the tax payers everyday they have their little stand offs. We could also do away with half of those positions with only one party. They might actually get some thing done???
I'd certainly like to see some changes that would help the country and the people .I don't think our founding fathers intended things to be quite this much of a cluster puck.
Bud will be along with a deap phonological meaningful rant

That funny, you hit the nail right on the head......
I grew up really poor, so I don't listen to the government or those who feel like they had it hard because of this or that reason. Poverty is a curse, regardless of your skin color, but some folks feel left out in this country, and they come up with all this crap about racial priviledge.
There isn't any. Poor is poor...........the government is pro government, the people be damned. We can fight wars all over the world and give to everyone on the planet but us.
If I'm anti-government its because people in this country go to bed at night hungry, and some are homeless.
The Rebublicans have never done anything for "we the people". The Democrats samething........
It isn't the two party system thats all of the problem, its the professional politicos who are destroying this once great nation.
What ever happened to "term limits"? It doesn't apply to the worst of the worst, the House and the Senate.
As long as being a politico is a profession, it will never get any better. Supreme Court Judge is a life time job, its winning the lotto for the inept. They're all life time jobs with extreme benefits all provided by "we the people".
Poverty is a curse, but big government is a disaster.
I have no faith in ether party or the government in general......... I love this country and "we the people", but the so-called leaders should be in prison for stealing the future of our children and grand children.
You hit the nail on the head. I agree 100 +%. Politics was NEVER meant to be a lifetime job. You put your 4 or 6 years in and then go back to doing what you were doing before getting elected , But the Government is full of Liars Oop's I mean Lawyers so we don't have much of a chance to change the situation other then another Civil War by THE PEOPLE who just about have had it !!!
