When I was a high school youngster in Northern Maine ya had a Hemi or a Honda 50 .A friend of mine, David had a Honda .Once in awhile during the summer we'd find a skunk .Being the back rider it was my job to pick a skunk up by the tail without getting sprayed .David would ride down main st and I'd lob the skunk into the back of some farmers pickup without him knowing.
Now one night things got a little crazy and I'm not particularly proud of it .I had erased it from my mind until He phone rang a couple years ago and it was David .I hadn't heard from David in 40 yrs ,he started off "ya got to tell my son about skunk tossin".We had both swore that we would never ,never tell anyone what we had done .
Alright ,it was a warm summer night and we found the third skunk of the year and a made the successful snatch of the critter.We'd headed down lovers lane and no one had spotted us .There was Larry B in his red& white 56 chev vert ,He was with Diane and Larry has just rounding second heading for third .They we're both slumped a little in the front seat .I flung the skunk which hit Larry in the back of the head .The skunk who was pizzed fell into the back seat letting Larry and Diane know how he felt .
Bottom line is Larry never knew who did it .Larry didn't bring his car to school for over a month.David and I gave up skunk tossin and swore to total secrecy .Larry would have killed both of us and I rally wouldn't blame him .Larry and Diane got married and moved to Michigan where he died last year .(RIP and I'm sorry )

Beats me, all we ever did was throw eggs and rotten tomatoes. Did the light a paper bag on fire with s_it in it on the door step, door bell ring, a couple of times.
It was one of those mixed emotion things as you look back at it .From a teens perspective it was a sick funny .It's just as the deed sinks in ya say I shouldn't have done it and thats my last skunk.
I did say I'm sorry but I wanted to confirm that Larry was dead .Actually Larry was the class Billie and the skunk changed that.
