Hi Everyone.  Vette Boy told me about this forum and I thought I stop by.

You never know too many Vette enthusiasts.

I purchased my first Vette in 1963 and I now have a 2006 Monterey Red Vert 6M.

Made a few appearance mods in the engine bay and installed NPP mufflers with m2w from Nakid Parts.

My wife and I are retired and spend approx. half the year in Florida and the other half in New Jersey.

Hope to learn new things here and help whenever possible.

Lou

Welcome Lou. I am also from N.J.. I live in Somerset County and at present own 3 Corvettes. Not retired fully yet but pretty much semi-retired at this point. Still run my wholesale Automotive Parts business but pretty much wait for my customers to call on me rather then how I use to do things before in calling on them everyday of the week. Still keeps me pretty busy and I very rarely ever turn any business down. Forum member Mr.Muffler also a member on this forum was a former customer of mine now living in Virginia. I am sure he will chime in on this thread and greet you also when he see's it if I had to bet on it. biggrin

Thanks everyone for making me feel welcome.
Hope you all had a good Labor Day weekend.
We had great weather in New Jersey.
I plan to head south this weekend to check on the house in New Smyrna Beach. I am driving down with the Vette. I love to drive that car.
Lou

Well, made it to New Smyrna Beach. The Vette ran great with no problems.
Averaged 27.1 mpg on the trip. Talk about great gas milage with a high performance car.
Got in around 4:30 P.M. Put away my stuff, did a little food shopping and when I returned home, my daughter and her boyfriend were waiting for me. They live in NSB also.
Had dinner with them and as they were leaving, a big explosion. The transformer across the street blew up and all the lights went out in the neighborhood.
I am very impressed with the NSB Utilities Commission. There was a lineman here within 15 minutes and we had power back up within 30 minutes.
The Vette is a mess, though. I killed quite a few bugs on the way here. Was too tired and was too hot to wash it today. Tomorrow I'll get out there with a bucket and hose to make it pretty again.

Lou ,maybe we can get together .I'm not sure what my travel schedule will be for for the next 12 months .I ended up in Mississippi rather than Florida last winter ,froze my azz off .I do know I'll be in Daytona area in January to see my mother and I usually try to make the Bud Shootout .And of coarse Junkie usually wants to hook up and go to Woody's BBQ .

Don't forget the NCRS show at Old Town (Kissimmee) the end of January next year;  the Solid Axle Corvette Club Natl Convention will start right afterwards across the street.  Might be a nice mid-point to meet up...  Of course, I'll be at both!

There is a possibility that I will be in Florida in January.
It all depends on my dog (Long story).
If that is the case, it would be great to meet up with you guys.

I work late/weekends in January to gain a little time off.  It's early in tax season. I've been on the show committee for something close to 30 years now.
