Yea, that is a good idea.  I'll change the clutch fluid when I get back to N.J. next week. Last time I had it in for an oil change, I also had the brake fluid changed.

On the C5 I did it at 30,000 miles on the C6 I do it every oil change.

All I do is remove all I can with a turkey baster ,refill reservoir ,pump, and then repeat three times. It's not 100% but I'm happy.

What brand and type of Clutch fluid are you using? I am still not familiar enough with my C5 as of yet. I never had to change clutch fluid before so this is all new to me.

I use synthetic DOT 4 Valvoline .Look at your fluid and see if like a crust around the outer edge and is real dark .If it is a medium color and smells healthy you may want to leave it.Hell my Ford truck has never been changed in 200,000 miles

Dot 4 is a brake fluid very similiar to Dot 3. Both will absorb water. The only thing different about the 2 that I know of is the boiling point or something of that nature. The only time I have changed out my Dot 3 or Dot 5 Synthetic none water asbsorbing Brake Fluid in my Collector Cars is when I have a problem such as a bad piston seal or master cylinder in the C-2 using Dot 3 or in the case of my C-3 using Dot 5 fluid. Using a turkey baster type of fluid remover is not a bad idea but will basically only change the fluid in the bowl of the master cylinder as it doesn't circulate  or go through the system unless you bleed it out. I assume the same would be for the clutch slave cylinder.

Same fluid as Vett Boy, but have it done by the Service people.

The recommendation is to have it done at least every three years unless you drive the car real hard (racing and such).

Again you can take a visual check and kinda tell .Keep in mind the C5 does not have the issues a C6 has .
