My wife of 44 years has made reservations at a romantic B&B for Saturday night .She's bought two bottles of my favorite wine .

The B&B is located in Boothbay Harbor a small Maine coastal town .

Awww!! Congrats on 44 years!! Maybe she just wants some alone time with her wonderful husband. No hidden agenda.

I'd love to be married to my hubby for 44 years. Our 2-year anniversary was in June. He hasn't kicked me to the curb yet....I'm hoping he's gonna keep me.

Had a nice time ,spent Sat am at the botanical gardens.Had a Vegan lunch at the Gardens.
Registered at the B&B which was far nicer that I had imagined .Sat on the porch overlooking the bay sucking down a couple bottle of white wine.Went down to the town which was an easy walk and had a great evening meal of fried food, lobster and a little more wine.

It was late when we got back to our room and never unpacked the rope, handcuffs, and whips my wife had packed .

Lizzie missed me

Speedie, I lived in Aberdeen Maryland, about 45 miles North East of Baltimore.
Almost got killed there, it was close. I'm as trusting as a puppy and and it almost cost me big.....

I was posted to APG Aberdeen Proving Grounds the US Army's tracted vehicle
testing grounds.
One night the guys wanted to go to the carnival in Aberdeen, so we caught the Army bus to town and went to the carnival. I just with the guys hanging out, I never bother anyone, but my Friend Frank Perales got a deer John from his girl back home in Califonia.

We were heading back to the post and Frank hauls off and hits this local guy knocking him to the ground.
So we decide to leave, waiting for the Army bus, all of a sudden this that got hit shows up with 2 car loads of local's out for Army blood.

While the others were confronting the locals this one dick weed decides that he was going to take me out.......I though ok, fair fight no bigge, so says step into this pedistrain tunnel and we'll have it out. So I goes to walk into the tunnel when the biggest soldier that we know goes beserk and scared all the locals into running.

I looked at  Prouse and says what got into to you man? He says there were 5 guys in that tunnel with chains and jack handles, you weren't coming out of there.

We'll we missed the bus and had to hide and run all the way back to the post with 5-6 car loads of locals trying thier best to hurt us.
The local's hated the Army, on the bars in Baltimore were signs that read, "No soliders, sailors or dogs allowed"..........

Viginia is ten times what Maryland is.

Good lawd, Bud!!!!!! I'm glad the brutes didn't catch up with y'all!!!

All of Jim's family is in the Maryland/Virginia area. One of his daughters lives in Ashburn with her hubby and 2 kids (yup...I'm a step-grandmother). My aim is to get him as close (geographically) to them as possible.

Sweetness in Life.......
If you ever get the chance pick up, "Porgy and Bess".
Or if your sold on Maryland, HBO's "The Wire"......

I've never planned anything in my life, few options....beyond survival.
To busy stratching the ground to look up.

I knew a guy once he was the mail man at a friends place all's he ever talked about was "In two years, I'm going to retire, and me and the wife are going to enjoy life".

Well a few months later, his wife was driving the car on a one way street, got hit by a drunk and was killed.

"Expect nothing and sometimes you'll be plesantly surprised".
The Buddhist Monks, make a Mandella, its a beautiful sand painting, taking weeks by three to four Monks to complete, as soon as its finished, the elder Monk takes a small broom and sweeps it all into dust.

A Mandella is the "wheel of life", the sweeping away of the wheel of life shows the impermanence of life and all thats in it.

Life can be a beautiful experience or not, but we make those choices, between good and bad.
If theres beauty, theres ugly.
If theres good, theres bad.
If theres holy, theres evil.

Its the duality of man, that causes one  to want this as opposed to that.

Life is above all else experience. I accept all experience as experience..
Tomorrow is an unknown. You're birth and your death both began at the same moment. Yet we fear death?
Who feared birth?
Its all a part of the "wheel of life", its all impermanence.
Will there be a tomorrow?
Only for those who work......set your alarm clock for 0' dark 30.

Dearest Jones....

I enjoy every minute of life....the ups, the downs, the joys and sorrows. The uncertainty. I don't fear death. I know where I'm going: where everything is new again.

My faith is unwavering.

Lizzie would love you company.

I have a pellet stove, been burning pellets for 15 years now.
Some idiot said that they wouldn't work in cold climate, but my bro in Minnysnowda has one and it heats 2200 sgft......no problem.
He also uses the portable the hot oil heaters..

Pellets here are like $5.00 for 40 pounds, that will last me 3-4 days on mid temp with outside temps of 22 to 45........I burn pellets 4 months out of the year.
