I also did my civic duty and mailed my absetee ballot for Florida a couple of weeks ago. Can't wait for the next couple of days to be over. I am tired of listening to campaign ads and pundits telling us who and why will get elected.

Me too, Lou. It's sensory overload.

I vote by mail. Have done it for several years and it really is nice to sit at my kitchen table and read all the information so I can make an informative selection.

Each vote does count. I voted in Florida and look how close it is for the Governor's seat.

Good for you folks .Maine elected the first Republican Governor since 1960 plus the majority of the house and Senate .Maine is ranked #1 in anti-business and highest per capita taxes .

Oh the new governor was homeless at 12 and lived on the streets of Lewiston .He raised himself and did well in school .A total stranger paid for his college education .He currently runs a chain of department stores in Maine .

I didn't vote. I don't believe in the political process in this country.
This country is ruled over by professional politicos whos only passion for this country is thier power and lining thier own pockets.

The ruling class could careless about this country.
There are no good politicos.
Every year we the people get subjucated, pushed, taxed, told lies, half lies, and every year the country gets more mired down in political crap.

The US is one of the most generous countries in the world, first on the scene in Haiti, Pakistan, etc, yet we have women and children who go to sleep in this country hungry.
Homeless......without hope, without shelter, without any help what so ever.

The cultural hero's of this country are tyrants and thieves. Ted Kenenedy comes to mind a disgraceful man of ill repute, 46 years he ran the senate, he had to die to leave the good life of robbing the American people.

Barbra Boxer her only job ever is being a senator......26 years of lining her own pockets just got elected for another 6..

If this was indeed a "free country" there would be term limits on the politocs.
One term and its back to work for the free loading vermin...

Meanwhile as the great ship America slowly sinks on the horizon, the politcos party on with tax payer life boats set up to save thier miserable lives.

We don't all live in the same America, we are not all "created equal", we are not all "free".

No offense but you have strong opinions regarding the political situation and I understand your unhappiness with the entire process of government but you are still an American first which bestows the Right to vote be it for good or bad reasons. Sometimes I vote just to make sure a certain candidate does not win, not that I like the opposing candidate. Then there are propositions that affect my taxes, education, social events, etc. I agree most of the political stuff is BS and those elected are the biggest BSers but I think it is still a right I earned so I vote. Again, no offense.

Ken no offense taken, its only my opinion. When it comes to government there are many opinions.
It actually scares me when people share my opinion....

Well, get  a little scared because I share some of your opinions.
Not all, mind you, but some.
