Irony

My brother works as a security guard at a gated community in Santa Teresa New Mexico, its minimum wage, $7.50 an hour. My brother is 66 its the only job that he could find. His boss is 74 he makes $8.00 an hour.
Last week his boss is all bent over and pointing to his back, he was chocking to death. My brother used the "Heimlick" maneuver to clear his throat, he had to do it twice till the man could breath.

Anyways the boss is telling everyone that my brother saved his life, so I asked my brother how much the gave him? He says nothing I didn't want anything.
He saves his life and gives him nothing....not even a day off with pay.

Just saying, that sometimes it seems like everybody else is just floating through life and it ain't so.
For the little people its hard...
I'm glad that my brother saved the bosse's life, the boss is a good guy.
My brother is a better person for being able to help, theres a lot of good people out there who are really up against it right now.

But now of them are rich.........

Your brother did well .No good deed goes un rewarded ,it just takes time .

And yes there are people out there that are desperate and for some it may get worse.

I am certain that your brother did it without thinking or hesitation. He saw a human being in distress and wanted to help him.

If he had saved my life, I would do something for him to show my appreciation.

Your brother is a good man. Obviously, it runs in the family.

If he'd saved my life, I would have made sure he was well compensated.
