Side Mirrors Adjustment

I saw this youtube video and thought that other drivers would like to know how to adjust the side mirrors correctly.  It could avoid an accident. Click on the following link.

Thanks, Lou! I've been adjusting my mirrors incorrectly since I started driving.

I had to go back out late last night to pick up my hubby at the airport. I adjusted my mirrors according to the instructions, and was surprised at the difference.

I agree with the video except driving at night. If you leave the mirrors with this correct adjustment, you get really bad headlight reflection from cars coming up from behind you on either side. I hate driving at night.

Good info .I'll share it with others ,might save my life.

When the 97 was introduced there was an owners video tape that covered everything from mirrors, steering wheel ,seat etc .Mirror adjustment was very similar .

If anyone is looking for one of those '97 C5 Video's see Sebring Bill on this forum. He bought out the last of them and is selling them cheap. Bought one for a friend from Sebring a couple of months ago. Brand New in the original GM Box. Can't go wrong if you would like one.
