Today, Feb 25 2011 is not only my birthday but my retirement day after 35 years with the same company. Now, every day will be a Saturday!
Good for you Ken. I forgot your birthday was 2 days after mine. Happy Birthday! I have another year and 363 days to go to do the same.

Hi Fred, happy belated birthday to you! I see you are counting the days to retirement! The last month seem to drag on really long to me. But it's all good now!
Ken, Make sure you tell them down there at Social Security to save some for me. Hope they don't change the rules before I get there.
On another note Ken its nice to talk to you here on the forum. Reminds me of when I started this forum and you were the first one on board with me here when I told you what I was doing. We were both pretty much banned from the other forum at the time. At least I was and you weren't too, too far behind that I remember with many warnings. Funny how things come around again. Seems like we are the only 2 posting here now once again as it looks like the others have given up on us.

Unfortunately you are right. We just couldn't get enough members to join and start posting. None of the BIG HITTERS from the other forums came over with their many friends. Yes, we got a few at a time but it kind of fizzled out. Nobody's fault, nothings a 100% sure thing. I would leave it open through spring time and see what happens. If nothing by summer, and it's up to you, I would shut it down as we are friends and can still chat on that other forum! Maybe we can get some of the others like redwing, speedy, John Wayne (depending on the day it is), Mr Muffler, and the rest to stay in touch?
Happy Birthday Corvette Brothers, allot of great guys were born in Feb,Including Me,Monday is the big day here!~!!
I know 1 thing for sure and for certain....................... "Winners never QUIT, and QUITTERS NEVER Win"!~!!!
Things are tough all over and will NEVER be a American Dream any time soon!~!!

In the last 3 years I've went from "Mr Nice Guy" to "A$$hole Villain",If you don't have the $$$ to pick it up,You Won't Pick it up till the bill is paid! And extra charges will apply, after 5 days of completion $30/day storage, after 30/days Mechanics lean will be expressed by State, after 90/days Vehicle will be SOLD for Bill and Storage charges!~!! (I have 3 coming up 90 days now!~!!)
It'll get better guy's,It's GOT TOO!~!!

GMJunkie, I know exactly what you are talking about. Been in business 34 years and never saw things so bad out there like today.

Hi Ken Congratulations on your retirement. Welcome to the club. I see a lot of folks have not been posting lately including me but my wife has been having Health issues that i'm dealing with so I haven't been posting or being on line. She is doing better now so I will try to get back in the Groove. Mr.Muffler
Stick-Shift-Shirley is doing fine now from what she told me on the phone. Mr.Muffler took good care of her. She told me she can't wait to bang some gears in Ricks '62 Chevy once it comes back from paint and he finishes the restoration on the car.

Hey I feel insulted. As mentioned on this forum to Ken my birthday was 2 days before Kens and Speedie didn't wish me a Happy Birthday.

Thanks Speedie. I am feeling much better now. Nice cake. I tried blowing out the candles but no luck.
