Over here in Jersey we also got hit late this morning. Was snowing like crazy. Flakes the size of Half Dollars covered the grass and my work trucks. Didn't stick well to the streets. It was about 36 degree's when it came down. By afternoon all was melted.

Ken want me to send some to you next time?

Actually, we get a couple inches every 5 to 7 years. Sticks for about an hour or two and then gone.

Were forecast for snow on 4/8.........30%
I like the four seasons, snow, rain, wind, heat...I'm above 3000ft in the Southern Sierra's.
The flatland is too hot and to full of people.
Its 32 or less at night here about 6 months out of the year. Snow level from 6" to a 1 1/2 foot.
About 5 cars a day drive by my house.
The big town Lake Isabella has two traffic lights.

Theres no gangs, very little crime, no noise, no traffic, friendly people, 98% white.

Everything is here super market's, resturantes, gas, food, clothing, UPS, banks, harware, lumber yard, car repair, airport, marina's.

Just no crowds, not much crime, low taxes, you buy can a stick built house here with a 2 car garage for $50,000 and up.

If you combine all the little towns that make up this area theres 10,000 people here.

My town 2,227.........

Cities are hard places to live, noise, traffic, crime, parking, taxes..........

Not where we were. We were in Cozumel, Costa Maya and Playa del Carmen.

We did, however, see some of the poorest areas in the country. My interest was in the Mayan ruins at Tulum. I'll post pictures later when I get a few minutes.

Thanks, Bud. I'd love to see it and I'll add it to my bucket list.
