Bought this car for tooling around town. Got it for a great price and it's a original California car with absolutely no rust anywhere. Not a Fiat fan, just wanted a fun toy to cruise around with the top down.
Cool looking car. Don't see many of them around anymore other then maybe at a Car Show. Do you have any hair to blow around now at your age with the top down. If you are like me no problem. Don't have much left so I keep it pretty short. Back in 1970 when I picked up my '67 Vert I hated having the top down because of my hair. I had a lot of it back then and have no idea where it went.

I actually have a full head of hair. One of the lucky ones I guess. But I hear of ladies saying bald is beautiful so not so sure I am a lucky one! It's too confusing to me what the ladies like and want anyway. Guess that's why I'm still married after almost 30 years. The car is a lot of fun to drive. Has a dual overhead solid lifter cam that winds up to 6500 RPM. Not a fast car by any means but fun to drive. I haven't had a vert since my college days when I had a little MG Midget. That car was also fun but very small. This car has a 5 speed, power brakes, I put in a new CD player and speakers although with the top down, you need to turn it way up and sound quality isn't that good with all the noise. I'm not going to keep it unless I decide to get rid of some of my other cars. It's too crowded in the 3 car garage and 4 car driveway. I hate shuffling cars around to get one out of the garage.
Yea, it's a 4 banger with a 5 speed and weighs nothing. Great gas mileage and fun to drive around town but I wouldn't want to take it on a long trip. I'll sell it when I get tired of it. I bought it to fix it up and I did that already so now I'll drive it awhile. Doubt I will hang on to it for long.
