Missing you Mom.........

If flowers grow in heaven Lord, then pick a bunch for me, place them in my Mom's arms and tell her they're from me.
Tell her that I love and miss her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while and tell her it's from me.

Excellant Tribute to your Mom (GMjunkie).

Went to see my Mom on Sunday at the Nursing Home where she lives. My mom has Alzheimers Disease since around 2001. She finally had to go into a full time nursing home in 2007 four years ago this month. My mom if she makes it will turn 89 years old on the 28th of this month. No one in my immediate family has made it past 89. I lost my father at 87 on the last day of December of 2008. My fathers mother lasted to 89 just missing 90 when she passed back during the late 80's. I predicted many months before that my father would not make it to the new year of 2009 and dam I had to be right being he took ill at 85 and went downhill real fast going back and forth to the hospital and temporary nursing home those 2 years. Probably wasn't at his home more then 6 months if that during that time period. Trust me I know what it feels like to lose a parent. I am lucky to still have my mom but she is nothing like she use to be. Can't even have a conversation with her for how bad the Alzheimers Disease has been for many years. She is pretty much in her final stages now but I am still glad to have her I will tell all here. I know once they are gone they don't come back. Hope God will let me still keep her awhile longer. Hopefully I will be here to tell you she will making it to 90 next year.

Nobody dies, thier body dies yes, but its supposed to.

Religion or lack of it, premeates most people's idea of death and dying.

Religion says that the body dies to be resurrected by the return of Jesus.

If someone dies and comes back to life thats reincarnation, thats Buddhism and Christanity.

Buddhism says that we all are reincarnated, in order to live all the lifes that it takes to see life in its entirety.

There is actual proof of reincarnation, lots of it.

The original Christian Bible included reincarnation, but the Catholic's Canonized a lot of the original texts, to better suit themselves, the texts were converted to a form of control.

Thus was born the King James Bible, with its ancient forms of good and evil,

crime and punishment. In the original Hebrew text hell translates to "Out of the sight of God" ie "dead".

With so much misinformation about death and dying its no wonder that most folks fear death and have sorrow for thier loved ones who have simply gone home.

We are pushed and shoved into being like everyone else. It takes all the wonder out of life. We are taught to fear death and being different. Death only stings the living.

The dead have no such fear, they grieve not, they fear not......if everyone really understood death and dying we would not fear death nor miss those who have gone before us. Instead we would be happy for them. They have stepped thru the invisible vail separating this life from the next. Only those who believe in death will die, that is when on the otherside they will for a time see what they expected to see. Don't we all?

But we are not taught the truth about anything, "The truth is controversial, and controversy is not taught".....

I rejected Christanity at the age of 5........it made no sence to a 5 year old.

My mother taught me before the age of 5 how to be a decent person.

"You don't lie, you don't cheat, and you don't steal", "and you don't hit your sister".
