A Nation of Peace

Why is it that the US, a Nation of Peace has so many Wars?

Why is it that the US, gets involved in the affairs of every country in the world?

Why is it that a Nation of Peace wants to control the world?

Why is it that the US, can't take care of its own affairs?

Why is it that the two wars, Afganistan and Iraq and not even a consideration when it comes to the Federal Budget.

The US quotes the cost of SS, Edu, Medicare, etc but not two wars?

Back in the late 60's, the hippie movement brought out these types of questions. We need to ask these questions over and over to our local and state representatives. I would think in a FREE country which is supported by it's people, the people have a 100% right to know the answers. How come we don't? no
