Ok, I admit I don't post much anymore but I look almost daily and it looks like we have either lost a bunch of forum members or everyone is too busy. So I was thinking lets see how many actually still visit. If you still visit, please respond with anything you like so we can get a head count. Thanks guys and gal!
I'm still checkin' in. I'd really like to see this forum grow!!!
We've added a new Chevrolet to our family......no, not a Vette.... she's a 2012 Imperial Blue Metallic Camaro. Very purdy and fun to drive.
On a sad note: My Vette is on the DL. We don't know what's wrong with her...hubby is gonna work on her this weekend. I don't drive her a lot, and I'm thinking it's the battery not wanting to hold a charge. She tries to start but just won't turn over. The perplexing element is that she'd only been resting for a couple of weeks and was doing fine prior to being parked.
I'm also considering that she's feeling a little irritated about having to share her garage with a Camaro. Maybe she's just punishing me.....

Speedie,
Buy a CTEK battery maintainer. Cost at Amazon.com around $35. It maintains the charge on the battery and easy to use.

Maybe the Corvette likes the other side of the garage more.
I would look into the battery tender also. I still check in from time to time. I will try and do better this year. Happy New Year everyone.
My husband bought another one today (he already has one, but it was several years old). Auto Zone charged the battery for us...it had less than 25% charge.

Whoooooops.....I was wrong on the price. Amazon.com CTEK 3300 $56.99 for the charger and I also purchased the cigarette lighter adapter for easy charging for an additional $12.49. Seems expensive but the best price I could find and free shipping. Read the reviews on corvetteforum.com and you will buy it.
I am here and I usually check in every day but have been busy being I purchased my father and mothers home from my fathers Estate and have been over there working to get it ready to rent out. Very tired at the end of the night and have been crashing out my reason for not checking in as much lately.
On another note I have been using the Battery Tender Junior on all of my Collector Cars now since purchasing one for my C5 in August of 2010. Was using the cheap Harbor Freight ones but was convinced after using my 1st Battery Tender it was one of the best made out there with a brain. It is even recommended for AGM Gel Batteries like the one installed in my C5. The Harbor freight one says it is not for Gel Batteries. Can't beat the price at Amazon either. Just $21.55 now. A steal if you ask me. I think I own 6 or so of them now.

I'm checking in and I realize it's been months .My wife is in Beijing till Aug 10th .I've had to learn to cook water ,laundry etc .I've got dust balls the size of tumble weeds .Work has been excessive for an old guy and I'm usually up at 3:30 am .Plus a live in grand son and a Mastiff who wakes me up during the night to see if I'm alive.
I should be in Florida with the car but that won't happen for awhile .
Don't mean to complain ,I should be thankful for the work.
I am still here Sebring being I am the Moderator. Not many are posting here anymore and its been hard to get people here when they don't see much activity. Anyway still enjoying all 3 of my Vette's as often as possible. As far as the forum is concerned I haven't given up as of yet.
