oil pan plug leaks......how to fix?

The oil pan plug on my small block 6 quart pan leaks. I think it has a rubber or some kind of soft gasket that is stuck to the pan. Any ideas on replacement gaskets to stop the leaking? Can I get them at the local NAPA, KRAGEN, ETC parts stores?

  Hi Ken
You should be able to get the proper gasket @ any Auto supply to stop the leak. Have a Great Day.  Rick

Ken,
Mr.Muffler is correct. Just about any parts store should have what you need. In my business I sell quite a few different drain pan gaskets to the repair shops. You can ask for the double think nylon gasket and give it a try or you can also try one of the later model drain pan gaskets made with rubber and metal.

Well, not just leaking there as I got the copper and rubber washer from NAPA and the plug isn't leaking but still dips. must be either rear main seal or rear pan gasket.
