$14B Auto Bailout Dies In Senate

Just curious to what everyones take is on this. I agree with not giving a bailout. If the Auto Manufacturers can't make it I feel they need to reorganize not only for the health of the company but to also compete with the Jap plants here in this country. Whats your take?

Taxpayers should not pay for corporations who mismanage their business. Bottom line. People who get over their heads with mortgages also should not be rewarded nor their loan company. If there is a problem with the economy, let those who messed it up, fix it! I don't think working taxpayers should be responsible. disbelief

I agree with both of you. It is the auto workers union who have driven up the wages so high they can't compete. Just as Ken says NO BAILOUTS !! If people got into bad mortgages so be it. I for one paid my mortgage every month ON TIME so why should I bail out someone who bought more house then they could afford. Time to get back to the OLD Days. Live within your means.
