I have been buying ONLY American made cars for the past 40 years. I would not drive or consider a foreign car. I fought for this country, I will support it until I die. But I have purchased foreign product like little stuff as some of it is hard to find made in the USA! So much is farmed out it's getting more difficult to know. But ya gotta support the USA and our work force or you will be sorry later and that is no BS!

You are so correct .Ford has now out sold Toyota for three straight months .If Ford in carefull they may become the big one .Ford also utilizes the least imported parts of any Mfg in North America .Part of GM 's recovery plan is to import (with GM lable) cars from China and Korea .

I even buy American socks (funny but true)

We have owned and still own GM, Ford and Chrysler vehicles. I have no complaints at all except a few minor ones for my wifes Intrepid. They don't give you much room to work between the Radiator and Motor. Ripped my hands and arms up real good just changing the serpentine fan belt some time ago. Other then that we have had pretty good luck with it since 2002. Other then normal maintence I had to replace the electronic door mechanism which is all part of the latch on the drivers door and a gas cap that went bad. A/C leaks and needs R-134A added every year also. Thats about it knock on wood.

Both of my business Vans are Fords. The trucks do exactly what is needed of them. I have no complaints as I feel that are the better Van out of all the manufacturers. Both had mechanical windows, roll ups. That was about the only thing I could not stand about the 2 Vans as I had to stop driving to walk over to roll the window up or down. Took care of that problem right away with 2 Power Window Kits from Spal Manufacturing. Power windows just like the factory now. Very happy with how they work. Previously owned a Dodge Van and another Ford Van. An '84 and a '83 and just retired them in the last couple of years.

My daughter bought herself a new Mustang in 2007. No complaints and I also own a 2000 Mercury Marquis. Great car. Ford as much as everyone has picked on them over the years is doing the right thing I feel today. Its a shame their stock is down like the rest but it truly is a good company I feel. I would have no problem buying a new Ford today.
