gloss or satin black for shroud?

I have a 65 327 coupe and my friend has a 65 327 vert. His radiator shroud is gloss black and mine is more of a satin finish. The gloss doesn't look right to me but I don't know if it's correct or not. Any experts?

I'm not Positive my my take is the Satin Black as that is what my 62 Has. By the way Congratulations on over 100 Posts. Keep it coming. Mr. Muffler
