Looks like a nice engine that they put together. Again it is your choice. I see this company recommends Shell Rotella 15/40 for their engines. Rotella is said to be the best 15/40 oil out there. I have sold plenty over the years.

  Nice motor. Kind of weird that this motor costs almost as much as the car did new back in the 60's.

Well, ordered the 383 thursday. Should get it in a few weeks. It is the one from T&L, the 383 A-3.
