I received notice from Wendy Bopp that Rich has passed. I know many of us have enjoyed the posts by Rich (Richbopp) and will miss him dearly. I have never met Rich but tried to stay in touch with him through the forum. Always wanted to meet him and came close when he and Wendy were considering moving to Northern California. He evidently was taking a nap yesterday and didn't wake up so God took him peacefully. We will all miss him very much and I am sure he is cruising the clouds in his Vette right now.

Ken, A strange thing happened tonight. My daughter walks in late and asks me if I belong to the Corvette Forum because she remembers me talking about it at times over the years. I told her I once did belong but started an alternative Corvette forum that I have going now. Anyway she asks me if I knew a Rich Bopp. Flipped me out. Well to make a long story short my daughter is very good friends with Rich Bopps son Chris who lives in New Jersey. He was mentioning about his father to my daughter tonight and just so happened to mention about the Corvette forum. She said Rich's son Chris mentioned about a '64 Rich Bopp owned and a later model Z06 they he also owned. Supposely he sold the '64 and I guess his 3rd wife now has the Z06. Small World.

Small world, I knew Rich was from NJ but he didn't talk about his son. I remember he had the yellow 64 and sold it less than a year ago. But that's weird your daughter know his son, what are the chances?
