Power steering conversion in C2

I am seriously thinking of adding power steering to my 65 coupe. I am thinking of the newer type that uses internal VS external ram type system. Also considering the power rack system. Any comments?

Ken, I have power steering in both my '67 and '73 Coupes. Its really nice to have. My first Corvette my '67 Vert. back in the day did not have power steering as plenty didn't come with it. I remember that car being a bear to steer in tight places. Unless moving it was rough when trying to park the car. My Street Rod the '34 I had planned to put Power Steering in it when I built it. I actually had a Power Rack in the car from the beginning but thought it would look cleaner with a brand new TRW non-power rack so I went that route thinking the car for its little bit of weight wouldn't be that hard to handle being I was using a rack and pinion system. Well even that car can be a bear to drive when trying to park it at times. I can see where you are looking to finally go with power steering or in the Corvette world more so called power assisted. Myself I would look to go similiar to what came in the car as a stock power system but then again I have no idea what people are using nowadays to convert them over. Good luck in what ever avenue you go and keep us posted. I am now curious to what you are going to do owning a C-2 myself.
