Hey I got a good one for you. I am 58 years old and went to a Rock Concert last night. No, I don't think anyone knows any of these latest Rock Groups on this forum. Actually the tickets were free as my daugther works for a record company in Manhattan. The show was down in Asbury Park, New Jersey at the Asbury Park Convention Center right down the street from the Stone Pony where Springsteen started out. At first I felt kinda of funny there with my wife until I saw plenty of old timers like myself there. Maybe they were old Rock and Rollers, who knows. The music was too loud for these ears though. I am trying to keep what hearing I have left to listen to my Sidepipes. Anyway the record company that my daughter works for was there for a few bands that they have signed onto their label. One of the bands has a hit out there that you might of heard on the radio while going through the stations. It's called 2nd Chance by Shinedown. If not google it and listen to it. I first saw the group on Jay Leno earlier in the year. Anyway it was a heck of a night but to tell you the truth I would of rather taken a cruise in one of my Cruisers. Being I haven't touched or started the '73 as of yet this year. It would of been either the '67 or the S-Rod. Take my pick.

I'm glad you had a good time.... but I'm concerned about the '73. I'm sure she's feeling neglected, and I'd be more than happy to put a few miles on her.
Speedie you are welcome to drive it any time. Hopefully I will get to drive it soon before the Summer ends.

Yea not a bad bunch of fellows either. Spoke with Brett the lead singer after the show as we were invited to a barbecue they were having afterwards. I was kidding with him about Jay Leno. I asked him if Jay treated him well when they were on the Show. Brett said Jay was a great guy and he also mentioned seeing him (Jay) drive in to the studio in one of his collector cars the day of the show. He might of mentioned what it was but I don't recall. Got to talk with the other members of the group also. Erik the base player hung with us for quite awhile before Shine Down went on as another group Hailstone was playing. My daughter knows them all well that they come up and give her a hung when they see her.
