FS - 97 Owner's Video

I happen to have the free world supply of NOS original 1997 Corvette Owner's Video (VHS) tapes.  They are available here on STS Corvette Forum first (before anywhere else!) for $12, including shipping.  Send me an email at sebringbill@comcast.net and I'll get one right out to ya.  Remember, 1997 was not only the 1st year of the C5 but was also the lowest production since 1959!

Here's a pic:

I'm now selling these on other forums for $15, so you have to mention STS Forum to get the lower price!

Sebring,
I am placing an order for one of these 1997 C-5 VHS's. I have a friend who owns a '97. Told him about it today and he wants one. I was fortunate to get the '99 VHS with my car as the owner sent me it with the keyfob and window sticker a couple of days later after I purchased my '99. I already copied it to DVD. Sending you a PM with the address to send it to and for your address once again although I know I have it around here somewhere to send you out a check.

Fred

I watched the '99 VHS and I thought it was a good thing to have as most people don't always read what is in their manual. Watching someone use the various features is better I feel and seeing the car in action is what it is all about. That is where Chevrolet went wrong in these later years. Remember years ago there were plenty of Corvette Commercials showing off the car. Now all you see is foreign car commercials most of the time.

Got it today, Fred.  Thanks!  Amazing that a padded envelope can arrive to you a day ahead of a regular #10 business letter.

You know Sebring I was thinking the exact same thing. Funny thing I mailed your check at my nearest Post Office in the next town away from me just a 1/2 mile down the road. Maybe its because I mailed it in the outside Mail Box. They probably didn't retrieve it until the next day. confuse

Sebring, I just viewed the '97 Video tonight before I bring it to a friend of mine tomorrow Monday. Have to tell you that I like this '97 Video better then the video provided in '99. Its a bit different explaining things I feel a little better. THe '99 is a longer video though. Some of what is shown in the '97 Video is again shown in the '99 video using the same Red C-5 afterall you can't tell the difference. I guess it doesn't hurt to have both copys so I made a DVD of the '97 Video also while watching the video. Now I have both. biggrin
