It's the time of the year for car care

C5's and C6's have a bad habit of collecting rubbish up in front of the radiator. This may accrue on C4's also. I recommend that you jack up your pride and check it out .I vacuum mine out twice a year.Leaves ,pine needles ,trainin' bras all get stuck up in there .biggrin

Funny you mention cleaning out that certain area of your Vette. Hey you never know what you will fine.  It made me think about a few years ago when I decided to redo the seats in my '73 Coupe with new leather seat covers. To make a long story short after removing both seats I found a Gold Earing on the floor between the seats. My wife came out into my Pole Barn where I was working and saw the gold earing on the floor of the car as I just left it where I found it. I told her she must of lost it in the car years ago. She told me it wasn't hers. confuse Then I though right away and mentioned that it must of been one of the previous owners girlfriends earings. Now that sounded pretty logical don't you think? biggrin jawdrop.gif

Better ear rings than a thong .biggrin At least the ear rings you could say you we're thinking of getting your ears pierced ,but a thong---------------

I left my 69 off at a friends to start new carpet. He wanted to start and I wasn't there ,he called wanting to know about the wires for the trailer hitch he found.

Refer above 69 :in 1983 my wife and I had a chance to buy our first vett .A 1965 frame off restoration ,original vert 4sp for $16,000.We only had 12,000 saved so we bought a 69 for $3000 to restore .I put as much money into it that I could have bought a new one. She had almost 300,000 miles on it when we parted ways.
