Cool forum

This is a cool forum.........Normally I'd be called everything that one could think of by now.......but ya'll are cool.
The Corvetteforum hated me........the Corvettevalley.........got pissed at me.......the owner of the Corvettevalley called me an azzhole...one of the mods on the Corvetteforum threatened me with physical harm.......of course he lives 3,000 miles away.........he's a keyboard commando.......I used the term "Jap" to describe the Japs.
He said it was a racial slur.......
I got booted from the Corvetteforum for saying that if you can't maintain a weapon that maybe you're too stupid to own one.......
They never should have ended the draft........now we have all these idiots who can't field strip thier weapons........its dangerous.......

I tend to think more in terms of reality than in the "gray areas", myth is myth,
what good is it to be well versed in myth and superstition.......reality is hard enough.

Anyway ya all have a good one, even if its with "family", I always grabbed the rum and headed off to the back yard.........

Don't feel bad as I just went out Christmas Eve afternoon to get my wife's gift. Was fighting 2 weeks of a chest cold recently and wasn't in the mood to do much other then what I really needed to do during that period.

The way to kick a cold is.........believe or not is to plaster your feet with Vicks-Vapo-Rub and put your socks on and go to bed..........

No coughing all nite...........

Vicks-Vapo-Rub now thats an old product. Remember using it as a kid as my mom rubbed it into my chest when having a bad cold. Thought I read something on the lines you just posted recently about putting it on the bottom of ones feet. Does it really work? I would think the vapo would be stronger if put on ones chest and to be honest with you I thought the Vapor was to keep your sinuses clear not stop coughing all night. confuse

I read it on line and it said that your skin will absorb the menthol all night long and it would stop a cough......my mom would put it in a thing that made steam all night long.......they discovered it by floks who would put garlic in thier socks to stop a cough it didn't stopping the cold but you could taste garlic thru you feet.....

I never get cold's or the flu.......I live alone......no family, no friends, and go to town about once a week......some dummy gets the flu in Hong Kong and in a few months everybody in the US is sick.........it wouldn't be so bad if you actually benefited from knowing most of the population of the world but all we get is sick.......

Yep, the parents knew how to take care of thier own, they had too......farm life,
no money for health care, no money for meds which basically didn't exist.

We got cut we Mcherchrome, or Iodine........no antibiotics.......and we never got infections.

But growing up poor does have its downside, my brother almost died as a child cuz there was no money for doctors. He laid in bed for two weeks with a ruptured
apendix.......that took 2 months in the hospital, the county hospital.

The county hospital is where my brother learned that black folks don't like white folks.

Growing up in all white San Diego.......we didn't know that.......but we do now.
I mean if you think about its all stupid........the only color that has ever really mattered is green.
