Alky haul.....when I was a carpet layer we had a cure for whenever you cut yourself it happened a lot, You rub the wound in the inside with alkyhaul......self medicating.
Born in 1951, before there was a Corvette? I remember reading about the "new Corvette" in Popluar Mechanic's when Tom Mcahill wrote about the car.
But its all Relative, once you hit 55 its down hill from there......... Lets see where did that time go, I know its around here somewhere.........
But wasn't all wasted I've learned a few things..........."you've got the right to remain silent" Anything that you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.........

I wasn't reading anything in 1951. Maybe the Corvette was in the planning stages at that time I really don't know but 1953 was the very first one and at 2 years old I couldn't of drove it anyway. Probably sometime during the Route 66 TV Series the Corvette was making an impression on me that hasn't stopped to this day.
You are absolutely right about the 55 and down hill remark.
