Speedie, aka Queen for a Day, won the lotto and don' need us anymore...
Didja know that Maine is at the top of the US map and that the Canadain's are illegally
invading our country?
Or is that Mexico?
Or Central America?
Or South America?

Anyone know of a good doctor or dentist that was born here? I don't....
OB's a making the country a much better place for the minority of us.

When is US going to stop backing that drug dealer Karzi in Wrongkanistan.

Walt Disney would be turning over in his grave if he by chance watch the nightly news.
Disneyland is Washington DC........a place so full of crime that nobody can safely go out at night not even the DC Police.......Fantasyland..

I know this forum isn't hopping like some others out there but I miss hearing from Speedy also. She just adds that femine touch here that you don't see in all forums. I kind of like it. She is one of the guys. Anyway I appreciate everyone that comes here not leaving this forum to die a slow death. Again I wish we could get some new members here to build this forum up. Problem is it is hard to pry anyone away from some of the other forums. Not because I moderate this forum but I can stand back and see what this forum can actually be. Only if others would give this forum a chance. Problem is people want a ready made forum with hundreds if not thousands of members to be there right from the get go. Heck those forums had to start out at some point also. Everything is set up here and more can be added. So whats the problem?? Can it be that we are Gestapo free of those type of Moderators other forums have? Or that others may feel that since there are not many members here their question won't be answered properly? We as members here need to concentrate on the problem we are facing and try to come up with some answers that will benefit all of us here.

I'll drop Speedie an Email AGAIN and remind her where her special friends are .

The Valley isn't a hoping place either ,I think there is less than 10 active members and maybe 5 occasional .

The Action center is no where near what it was two years ago and the Florida forum is down also .

I invite people but they never show up .

Awww, guys....y'all sure know how to make a lady smile.  biggrin

No, I haven't been on vacation....that's not until June 17-July 6...although, I'd love to take a few days off before then.

So, here's what's been happening:

I'm still working two jobs, my primary job has been, uhmmm, let's just say....it's been difficult, at best. The short version of the long story is, I'm having female problems. Noooooooooo!!!! Not THOSE kind of female problems!!

Ya see, I'm having problems with my boss, who is a female. Hence, the female problems frustrated.gif . I've worked at the same place for 28 years, and I have never seen anyone so inept...so unkind....so unapproachable...so unreliable. The most recent problems began when I told her she was unkind, unreliable and unapproachable. lmao.gif It seems she can't handle the truth. For the past two months, she's made my life a living hell. The good news is: she's moved on to someone else and is making their life a living hell. It was touch and go there for a little while, but the tension is no longer so thick you can cut it with a knife. Having been there for so long, I've made friends with some folks in positions of authority and I'm wondering if someone told her to back the F*** off. She's being civil to me again. We'll see..........

On the Vette issue: my Sweet04 is no longer my daily driver. She has served me soooooo very well and is now a garage queen. Two weeks ago we bought a 2010 Chevy Tahoe (Granite Blue). It's taking me some time to learn how to drive it, but so far so good. I haven't hit anybody (knock wood) or anything (knock wood) and I haven't even curbed the tires (knock wood). The first day I drove it to work, I was a little nervous about navigating through the parking deck and out the gate. I'm 5'2" and it's the biggest dang thing I've ever driven. lmao.gif My husband is 6'4 and my son is 6'3", and when it came to traveling (which we do often) we always had to rent a vehicle or take two Vettes....and that gets real expensive, real fast. As well as being my DD, my husband will be using  it to trailer his Vette to track events. He's a track hound and goes to most every event he can. Part of our 2-week vacation includes an event at VIR (my favorite track) and another at Charlotte Motor Speedway....and a week at Virginia Beach.

Let's see.....that's about it. Not much else to bore you with.

With respect to bringing a feminine touch to the forum....is it okay for me to start hanging the pink curtains now? nana.gif

Thanks for thinking about me, y'all  and thanks for the emails, VettBoy & Redwing. Y'all know I luv ya', dontcha?

Female problems.......yeah, Buddy........I know the song, lived the life and married villainess.

Speedie, its not so unusal to have a boss thats an azzhole, male or female..
When I worked at 7-up the boss signed me up to setup at Martin Luther King Park
in South Central Los Angeles Ca........I said NO.......

I would've been the only WHITE BOY for 25 miles in an all Black hood.....the worst in LA.
The boss a little whimp said, "If you refuse the job, I can fire you". I said I'd rather be unemployed than DEAD....

So he says, "Ok then your fired you can come back next week and get your last check".

I said, NO that aint gunna work........he says, "Well you have to wait for your check".

I says No I don't, you fired me and if you get my check right now, I'm gunna kick your azz right here, his face turned white and he started with Now now don't get upset...

I said I want the check now I'll give you ten minutes, then I'm I gunna your kick azz...if theres no check.....

5 mins later the little puzz came back with the check.....

He thought that he had all of the power but he was wrong.......they're always wrong.
You treat an employee good and they'll bust thier azz for you, you treat them bad and you'll be sorry.....

I worked with a guy who got pissed at the shop owner and he put a can of paint thinner in the bottom of the water heater, yep fire destroyed the shop.......

Speedie quit one job..........NOBODY IS EVER ON THIER DEATH BED GOING TO REGRET NOT WORKING MORE OVERTIME........

Life isn't about what you did, its about what you didn't do.......
Life is all about creating memories, its not buying the new whatever.....its about family and friends......in my case its about my dogs......I don't care for my family and my grandson says that nobody likes me........

Think about it........I suffer from unreasonable happiness, I don't need a reason to be happy.
Thats unreasonable happiness.
I'm not wanting, waiting, or hoping for anything.........done that its a dog chashing his tail.

First of all welcome back Speedy we missed you. 2nd of all Dixie Dude I am having a hard time reading your posts with the small lettering. You must be posting with Font Size #1. Try using #3 with your computer when posting on this forum. Definitely need my reading glasses on when reading that very small lettering. Even with reading glasses on it is still hard to see it is so small. Unless it is my computer. Is Dixie's print small on everyone elses computer? Just curious.

When my wife and I we're firast married I told my wife that if we we're going to have kids I'd work and she would raise them .Being a pound puppy I really felt mothering was very important .My  wife did a fantastic job but it was me that failed myself .I worked every hour I was awake and a lot of it was out of town .I failed to spend quality time with my family .I can't go back and I deeply regret it.

Well, Andy thats what life is......its not WORK........we work to live and to accomplish things that we feel are important to us and ours......
But so many people become work. They forgot how to enjoy thier short lives.

I rasied my son, by myself......his mother didn't want him.
But his "mom" was the one that he really wanted to love him......she didn't have it in her.

He went against me at every turn, but I was the only constant in his life.
If your gunna have kids then you have to be thier for thier entire lives, good and bad......

I fianally got the kids mom to get in touch with him.....he hadn't seen or heard from her in 17 years, and he was glad to hear from her.

I says, Frank wheres she been all these years...........and "He says, she didn't know where I was". I said she could've contacted my mom, she knew. He comes back with, "Well she she didn't abandon me", "she couldn't find me".

Only having one parent was really a hard thing for him and I knew that I couldn't give him the love of what only a mother can......

So being there is the best that one can do.
But sometimes even that is not enough.

Yes a mother is very important, and since most of your kids turned out well you did the right thing, but the bad boy.......you can't win them all.
I kinda like the wild ones anyways.........

As far as work goes, I havent had a boss in 5 years and I don't miss it one bit.
I like working, but I don't like being owned.

BTW don't regret anything, thats the past, don't live there. Live here in the now.
The grandkids love us because thier parents are dickheads, to busy working and worrying to
to enjoy the only good things that they will ever do.......having kids.

So we can have grandkids.
Me and you were survivors when the **** hits the fan we hit the showers...

Hey honey....I'm glad someone knows what I'm talking about. As much as I hate to say it, I have very few females friends. Women are catty, unreliable and can be just plain mean.

When my husband & I were dating, I made it perfectly clear that the majority of my friends are guys. It's been that way all my life, and I'm too old to change now. He doesn't have a problem with it, and he knows every name and phone number in my cell, and he knows who I talk to or text. He also know that there's no way on God's green earth that I'm gonna cheat.

I understand, very well, why some men hate women. disbelief
