Whats the big deal about it, its just a church? Islam is only a little bit different than Christianity.
All the principles from the Bible have a similar role in the Koran...... Islam isn't the bad element radical Muslims are.
Being a radical Muslim isn't illegal in the good Ol USA........

I've watched this issue get sideways .The site is not at ground zero ,it's two blocks away and can't be seen from ground zero .There are three other mosques within 7 blocks of the trade center .There we're 20 or 30 Muslims kill during 9-11.
The constitution gives them the right to build a mosque on that site .
My wife has read the Koran which is very similar to the old testament .She teaches foreign students to read and write English plus learn our customs.About a third are Muslim ,they are all here legally .They we're invited by Catholic charities and sponsored by them .
Now my opinion is that the Muslims that are pushing to build this particular Mosque are extremely insensitive and they are adding to their own problems of acceptance into the American culture .
I'm extremely concerned that moderate Muslims are not coming to the forefront condemning this project .
