Wally World Rollback

For you C-5 guys that change out your own oil I see that Walmart has rolled back their price on a 5 quart container of Mobil 1 5/30 Syntec the recommended oil for your C-5. The price is only $21 for a 5 quart container which is only $4.20 a quart. Can't buy it anywhere that cheap. They sell it by the quart for $6.37 each. Pep Boys gets $7.50 a quart. How can you go wrong?

I am pretty sure the C-5 takes 6 qts of Mobil 1 w/filter. I ended up buying 5 jugs myself being I don't have a automotive warehouse supplier that handles Mobil 1. Being it is what GM recommends for the C5 I didn't want to make any changes. Sell Cam II in my business mostly Syntec Blend in both 5/30 and 5/20 in 55 gallon drums. All my other cars and trucks are still using regular Dino such as 10/30 or 10/40 or the Syntec Blend mentioned above. Have had no problems with either.

I've used Mobil 1 in all my Vetts except the 69 with no problems .I do change it at 60%-70% mainly because it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling

There sometimes is a vendor at the NCRS show in Old Town (Kissimmee, FL - January) that sells 6-qt cases of Mobil-1 for $16 (but I think it's closer to $20 now)!  I usually get two or three cases and have learned to find him quick 'cause he sells out a lot faster than previous years.  I do recall a year or two when he didn't get a space.
