2002 Viper GTS

Any of you guys/gal have any expertise with Dodge Vipers? I am interested in a 2002 GTS with 13,000 miles on it. Has a supercharger, comp suspension, custom exhaust, etc. 1/4 mile in 11.2 sec. Bumblebee yellow and black stripes. Black leather interior with 6 speed.

Ken I have a friend who owns one but don't see him much anymore. If I were you before you make a move I would go out and drive a C5 and compare both. If you haven't driven a C5 I recommend you do. Mine is just the standard LSI w/6spd but I believe it will blow the doors off of everything I own.  I can't tell you how impressed I am with mine.  Night and day over the C-2 and C-3. Don't get me wrong I appreciate my C-2 and C-3 for what they are but trust me you will be surprised.

Maybe you should consider a Z06 instead. I didn't consider one because I like the looks of the coupe better.

Sent you a PM.

Ken,What ever you do the the trick is to make sure you keep your C-2 while doing something else. Don't rid the C-2 like you did your StreetRod. You will kick yourself down the road especially after all the work you put into it. Time for a new toy doesn't mean discarding your old toys. At least in my mind. It will just make you appreciate your old toys more.smile

Here is a pic of the 2002 Viper. It would be a trade, my C2 for the Viper.

Nice looking car but looking at the deal as a outsider you have to think why does this guy want to trade his Viper for a 1965 Corvette? Something doesn't seem right. Again it is your choice to do.

He is a member of CF and had a 66 among other corvettes. He doesn't keep them too long. He just likes to drive them for a while, then get something different. "IF" I do trade I will have it inspected, run Carfax, etc before I commit.

Well, looks like I won't be getting the Viper, it has a ROE supercharger which is not 50 state legal so it won't pass smog here in California.
