Corvette Vendor (Corvette Garage)

I most recently placed an order with Corvette Garage for parts for my C5 on Sept. 8th. Needed a set of Chrome Lug nuts and a Filter cleaning kit for my Black Wing Air Filter System on the C5. Well things are not going so good at the moment. First of all I placed my order online over a week ago. Was supposely shipped on Sept.9th. Before placing my order I made a phone call to Corvette Garage and spoke to a person named Nate. Told Nate that I was presently in the process of paying for a order online. Told him that the Chrome Lug nuts that I was ordering had a provision online to buy the Lug nuts with out Locks. I checked off that provision to purchase 20 Lug Nuts Only. After doing so I didn't see anything different in the order menu. Nate told me it will be taken care of that it was locked in and being I called him on the phone he would make sure I got what I wanted.

Getting back to the waiting for my order. Got a confirmation on everything I ordered that night.  The next day Sept 9th got a email saying the parts were shiped but no tracking number. I emailed Corvette Garage (Nate) on Monday Sept.13th and he emailed me back saying I should of gotten a tracking number in my email confirmation. I emailed him back and told him I checked again and again and no tracking number. Well Nate emailed me back and told me that it was almost impossible for him to get me a tracking number now but he would try. After reading that and being I have been in the Auto Parts Business going into my 33rd year I thought this guy Nate was full of $hit so I email him back once again. No response. Well the shipment finally got here late Wednesday night Sept.15th by UPS. Opened up the box and sure enough someone did not listen to directions. I got 16 Chrome Lugs nuts and 4 locks. Not what I ordered. The Black Wing Kit arrived fine. Just so everyone knows it cost me over $16 for shipping here for this little bit of stuff. My wife told me they must of doubled the shipping cost being she ships stuff every day and saw the size box and felt the weight of the package as she brought it in. Not really that much concerned over the shipping cost but thought I would mention it here being it was not actual shipping I am sure they added a service charge to it for boxing my parts. Anyway I decided once again to contact Nate to let him know that I received my order but that now there was another problem. Explained fully what happened with the Chrome nuts as stated above in the email. This was Wednesday. It is now Friday and I haven't gotten a response as of yet forcing me to once again email Nate with a fowarding email of the last one I sent highlighted this time telling Nate nicely to respond back to me to let me know how he will handle this situation. Also to let him know nicely that I wanted to avoid disputing the charge with my Credit Card Company being I did not receive what I ordered.

Waiting for a response but now don't think I will ever order anything again from Corvette Garage looking at what I have gone through so far with this Corvette Parts Vendor. Am I being unreasonable here????

Well I got a email this weekend with a tracking number finally showing 4 regular Chrome Lug Nuts are being shipped out to me to correct my previous order. This should close the deal here once I receive them. Still I have some reservations now about dealing  with Corvette Garage again. I will think about it when the time comes to where I need to make another purchase. Have to say I usually deal with either Wilcox, Mid America or Corvette America. Wilcox is my first choice but the other 2 are not far behind. All have given me good service. Corvette America Leather Seat Covers and Flannel indoor car covers I do recommend.

I had some good luck with ZIP. I ordered about 10 different parts when they had their 10% off and free shipping last month. Got everything within a week. Nothing that was on back order. My only issue was with MSI doing work on my car. Can you say CROOKS! angered.gif

Last year I purchased an Interior Trim Kit for my C6 from Corvette Garage and thankfully I did not have any problems with them. The only thing I wished they had were instructions on how to install it. I ended up writing the instructions and posted them on the Florida Forum in case others had the same problem.
