Put The C5 Up on My Lift

Put the C5 up on my Car Lift for the first time Tuesday night to take a look underneath as I am about to change my factory powder coated aluminum wheels out for a set of Chrome 5 thin spoke wheels. Anyway as someone mentioned to me awhile back I wanted to take a look up under the car in the vicinity of the A/C condenser for leaves. Sure enough it was loaded up there. Must of taken up and blocked 6-8 inches of the top of the condenser. These cars must suck up leaves like a vacuum cleaner the way it was built. Wonder if GM ever accounted for that happening. I can see someone over heating at some point if they didn't keep that area clean or maybe someone having problems with their Air Conditioning.. I don't know what I would do without my car lift. With it I was able to stand up in that area with a air hose and blow it clean. Would hate to be on my back at my age today trying to do this with jack stands or ramps I have to say.

I just posted a service reminder under C6 .My C5 was really bad about collecting pampers, leaves and tree limbs on the upper face of the radiator.I vacuum twice a year with a small hose adapter.I'm willing to bet most people don't realize whats going on.The C6 doesn't seem to be as bad .
