C6 ZO6 Corvette

Was looking at some C6 Z06 Pictures last night online. Didn't realize the newer C6 Z06's are all Hatch Back Coupes smiliar to standard C5 Hatch Back Coupes. Guess I wasn't paying enough attention to the newer Vette's being all of the C5 Z06's were not built that way being they retained the FRC look that I never cared for about a C5 Z06 or the earlier FRC C5 Corvettes. I always preferred the Hatch Back Coupe instead. The FRC look reminded me too much of the rear design on a C3 Corvette and I have to admit I never cared for the limited space one had behind the seats of a C3 Corvette on the 3 C-3's that I have owned.

I'd have to agree ,I never cared for the fix roof .

Although the Z06 is a great machine ,it rides hard for an old fella ,Little to much performance for an old fella --hell I seldom drive more than 150mph .

I think it does appeal to younger vet owners .I just like a vert or removable top and let the breeze blow my few head hairs around .

Not much of a Vert Fan here as my first Corvette a '67 Vert I purchased in 1970 didn't do it for me. I mostly drove with the Black Cornvertible top up on the car. Also had the hard top but hardly used it being I liked the look of the Convertible top on the  C-2 better. Had a lot of hair back then and the Vert caused it to blow all around when drivng. Don't have that much hair today but I rather have the A/C on, on hot days. I shake my head when I see someone in a Vert driving around in the hottest weather with the top down and the Sun beating on everything. As a former Vert owner you know that person can not be comfortable. Might think they are cool but they are not keeping cool so to say.  You just know it.
