Great day here ,a little chilly but sunrise service was outside .Best part was I could stand up and pace during the service and it only lasted 17 minutes .

I'm with ya Speedie. I can't debate this. But I wonder how it all happened? There is a lot left out! Like the big bang theory. I really don't know and would like to figure it all out before I die. It's not that I can't debate it....I won't debate it. My faith in God is unwavering, and I make no apologies for being a Christian. The blessings in my life are too numerous to be coincidental.
Right! I was baptized a Catholic, did the Sunday school stuff, received conformation, but never got to the point where I could buy into everything. Stuck somewhere in the middle. Not a disbeliever, just not sure!
The Catholics invented Heaven and Hell........if you do what we tell you to do, you'll be rewarded, if not you'll be punished.....ring a bell? 85% of the US believes in God.

I think that Christinaty is interesting, Jesus is lovable character, but the story of his being put to death, never happened. The Romans were highest civilization in the history of the world. Roman lawyers were some of the best, nobody in the Roman Empire was ever put to death without a fair trial.
Nobody in this country is ever put to death without a trial, its unheard of. It never happened in Rome iether.
I'm not saying that innocent people don't get put to death, I'm just saying they always got a fair trial..........
Jesus wasn't tried in a Roman Court..........Pilate washed his hands of it in essence saying that Jesus in his eyes was an innocent man.
Very few things in the two Bibles can be proven historically, theres simply no physical evidence what so ever.......
Rome can be proven. Jerusalem can be proven. The Bible can not be proven.
The New Testament was written by unknown authors 100's of years after the death of Jesus. Its an oral tale that was at one time written down, by the early tribes of local area.
Anyone can believe what ever they choose, I don't have a problem with that, but I wanted to know the truth. "Know the truth and the truth will set you free"......thats right out of the Bible.
Some many people have died in the last 30 years who have been brought back by modern medicine, and they're talking. Do they see God, yes some do. There many books written about the people who have died and came back. The information is out there for anyone to read who is truly interested in seeing another side to the story.

I realize that theres so much to overcome when it comes to a life time of training to believe in something that cannot be proven..........Christmas, Easter, they fortify a belief in myth.
Even some Christian Religions don't believe in Hell....
When you see little children starving to death in Africa, you have to say to yourself who is this God who is so cruel to helpless innocent children.
The truth to who that God is, is a lot stranger than anything written in Bible.......once you know the truth it all makes perfect sence.
I believe in "All that Is" ie God, but not in religion. Man created God in his own image.......God looks like a man.

Well Redwing I believe the Good Book and it says that it all started with Adam and Eve as it was not suppose to be the way it is out there since Eve took a bite out of the Apple. The Apple could of meant many things. I don't know enough but the way I see it, it was suppose to be a perfect world if Adam and Eve listened to what God had to say. Its like when you have Children. They disobey you and they have to face the consquences. We are all facing the Consquences that Adam and Eve left us. Pretty simple when you really think about it.

When someone kills someone do we just forgive them or do they have to pay for their crime? Yes thanks to liars I mean Lawyers many get off the hook these days for just about anything they do if they have the money to pay the liars. I believe God handles things differently.
