Any stereo system experts here?

Ok, I am keeping what I have but need help with the audio settings of some after market equipment. I have a 2005 vert with the Bose Nav system and all front speakers are stock. The Bose rear speakers were removed and someone built a new fiberglass mounting board for the rear speakers which consist of two 8" Diamond Audio subs and two 6.5" Diamond audio dual cones. So 4 speakers total in the rear. In the trunk is a Diamond Audio D6 5.2 amplifier (60X5 & 70X2+sub, 140X2 and 280X1) watts. I have now idea what configuration was used. I would guess it's the 70X2+sub only because they way the wiring looks. Also is a Eclipse 21010 EQ and a Audiocontrol LC6 (6 channel controller). I need someone to tell me what settings this stuff needs to be set at for crisp sound and thumping but not vibrating sub sound. I have photos of the equipment and was hoping someone could get me going on correct settings. I am fairly sure none of the front speakers are controlled by any of the add-on equipment as there is a circuit breaker that will cut all rear and the front still works fine without. The pics I have can be emailed or I can post them here but size here is limited. I am not a fan of Diamond Audio but I don't feel like tearing out all this stuff so I am now looking to at least get some nice sound out of what I have. The Diamond Audio equipment was installed back in 2005 per the previous owner. Thanks!

I hate using a vendor if I can fix it myself but in this case I may have to.

Ken the factory stereo system in my C5 is excellent for my tastes. Have no idea why the younger crowd feels they have to mess with it and make changes but then again I am a 60 year old now and not 19 years old. Don't want to tell you what to do but I would go and listen to another stock C6 or even a stock C5 with the factory system still in tach to see what I mean. Maybe you can sell your system to someone and make some money in the factory swap with another C6. Just a suggestion. I have to say I love the sound of my stereo in my C5 when I am driving it. Better sound then any of my other vehicles I have to say through the factory Bose speakers.
