She hasn't been out on the interstate yet ,big cars like Camry scare her.biggrin

Here in New Mexico we are paying $ 3.61 for 87 octane and $ 3.86 for 92 octane.

Also it all has 10% ethanol, winter gas all year long.

We are lucky to get the mileage that the manufacture says it will get.

Northern Maine ranges from $4.09 -$4.14

Southern Maine and Central Maine $3.90 -$$4.06

What fries my azz is the up charge for premium grades ,It should be no more then 10 cents per gallon each time a grade is jumped .and some stations are charging as much as 25 cents

Love New Mexico

In Maine our gas is also a blend but the bulk of it is from Canada and I must say it's good stuff .The problem is that the Canadians will stop a lot of the US shipments and send it to Europe or China.US Canada relations have slipped for the last couple years .

Last weekend I paid $3.53 a gal. for regular to fill one of my everyday vehicles. This was from one of the cheapest stations around with no-name fuel. On Monday it went up 10 cents to $3.63. Most stations in my area with name brand gas are getting around $3.89 a gal. as I speak. Won't surprise me to see it up again this coming week.

One has to blame Obama and his policy on drilling plus the Pipeline from Canada he is against. By going with the pipeline I believe it would of sent a message to the Speculators and gas would of dropped instead of going up. Voting Obama out of office would be the best thing for this country in November before things get any worse. You just have to have that feeling if he gets re-elected we are not going to like what we see in the next 4 years just based on the first 4 years.no

Having grown up 5 miles from the boarder and many relatives on both sides relations we're good .All we did was wave when crossing the boarder as if ya honked it would awaken the crossing guard .

A few years ago when my wife and I we're taking the 87 to a show across the boarder we we're stopped at the crossing by a young customs lady .She looked like she just got her wings ,20 years old at the outside .She tried to act tough as she said I need to look in your trunk .My wife and I just looked at one another with a blank look ."whats the problem" she asked in a Stern voice ? We have no trunk was my wifes reply .With a red face she just waved us on.

Bought a 2012 Subaru Impreza Sport Premium hatchback. I swore I would never buy a foreign car but need it for my fishing trips. Has permanent all wheel drive so I can go in the snow, ice, and mud or sand and still get great gas mileage. I must be getting old......no
