Nice deal. How can you go wrong for that price on a low mileage 2002 C5? A similar deal to what I paid for my '99 back in 2010 with 36k miles on it.  Looks to be in nice shape. Does it need anything such as tires, etc?

Nothing yet .I was amazed at the lack of any front end chips .The tires we're new but a brand that I didn't reconize (non run flats)

A lot of Vette owners are choosing to go non Runflats now on their C5's from what I hear.

It's a matter of choice they are cheaper and quieter but personnel I prefer the security factor of the RF's .I'm older and I travel a lot at night on long trips .I don't want to crawl under a vehicle at 2am to find the problem ,plug it and carry a compressor .Some say AAA which is usually good but not always .

I know what you are saying. I had a O-Ring seal go bad right after I had my new rims mounted to the new Goodyear Runflats that came with my C-5 right after purchasing the car in 2010. I replaced it myself being I own a Rim Clamp Tire machine and was able to break the bead just enough to get my hand inside to disconnect the TPS and replace the O-Ring. I actually drove on that Runflat with no air inside of it and really didn't notice much of a difference just traveling about under 50 Miles per hour.

The only thing I don't like about Runflats is that they are a bear to mount and dismount so I left it up to Goodyear to do the labor. Didn't want to destroy my new wheels trying to mount them and when demounting them from the factory wheels. I did demount one of them on my machine but I have to say I struggled with it. Never really had a problem with regular tires. Just put 4 new (Non-Runflat) tires on my daughters 2007 Mustang and it was a breeze to do.
