New Clutch In My '67

Just installed a new 10-1/2" Clutch in my '67 Coupe a week ago and new Clutch Rod and Pivot Pin just the other day that was worn almost half way through. Also needed to send the Flywheel out to be ground down. The clutch was chattering somewhat since I purchased this Coupe 10 years ago but drove fine being I don't beat this car and was just looking for time to make the change. Had a brand new Sachs OEM replacement Clutch Kit by (Borg&Beck) sitting on the shelf for the last 6 or 7 years waiting for the install. Ended up replacing the 4spd Shifter Linkage just yesterday after some bad advice from a friend. I guess he figured since I needed a new Clutch Rod and Pivot pin that was worn badly that I also needed Shifter linkage. He was wrong.  Really didn't need it as I saw for myself mine was just as new. Didn't want to get the hassle in trying to send it back so I now have my original linkage for sale on the forum for half the price of new. My mistake someone elses gain I guess.
