The poor car will need to stay in Maine this winter .Sooo she has a battery tender ,carpet under each tire ,oil change ,full tank and a bunch of mothballs under the car .I turned the heat to 45 degrees so the car will think that it's just a cold winter in Orlando .

There is a reason why cars come with Owner’s Manuals and avoiding situations like this is one of them. A 65-year old ZR1 owner posted a story recently on a message board about being trapped in his Corvette, with no apparent way out. The gentleman apparently has fourteen other cars that he drives regula...

Was looking at some C6 Z06 Pictures last night online. Didn't realize the newer C6 Z06's are all Hatch Back Coupes smiliar to standard C5 Hatch Back Coupes. Guess I wasn't paying enough attention to the newer Vette's being all of the C5 Z06's were not built that way being they retained the FRC loo...

A friend of mine has a 2010 GS convertible with less than 5k miles. Recently, he has noticed that when he starts the car when the engine is cold, the idle fluctuates between 1,200 and 800 rpms. After a minute or two, the idle is steady. He brought it to Chevy and they were not able to find anything wrong...

I just read, in a couple of my Vette magazines, that individuals who order a new Z06 or ZR1 can, for a cost of $5,800 plus travel expenses, add order code PCB. That order code allows the new owner to asseble the engine assigned to their new Vette at the Detroit GM Performance Build Center. It is withou...

After a 1,000 mile trip to Florida, the Vette was a little dirty. I think I killed a couple of hundred insects. Washed it yesterday and just now got finished putting on a coat of Zaino Enhancer. I've been reading directives from GM .They recommend disconnecting the battery on all late model Corvettes (C5 &C6) .This pertains to winter storage. Mine is in storage but we've discussed making a break for Mississippi before winter is over.

Yes the Mid_America Corvette funfest in Sept. was a total flop. They had half the Corvettes and people in 2009. The owner Mike Yeagar charged his customers 25 dollars to park on his field, so half the people decided to save their money and stayed home. I stayed home thats for sure...
