Fass23Could you post a picture of the horns on your 73?Mine just had one when I bought it and I can lay my hands on a set of GM horns. I am just not sure how to mount the second one or how it should look. -- Edited by zathrus on Wednesday 17th of February 2010 05:28:34 PM

Anyone skipping fun fest this year?
(Preview)
Well the Mid-America owner Mike Yeagar wants to charge us Vette owners 25 dollars to park at his FunFest Corvette Show in Sept. By the time you add up the price of gas, a hotel room, and food plus an extra 25 bucks it gets way too expensive. Im staying home this year.

Stiffen the suspension up?
(Preview)
I took the Vette for a ride and at about 90 MPH I hit a dip that crossed the road at a angle and the car sat down on the passenger side header. Now one tube is flat for about 3”. WTF. Did not see it coming.I am thinking I might need to stiffen the suspension up so this type of thing can not happen. If I put on heav...

Engine Compartment Temperature
(Preview)
I installed duel Spals a couple of years ago on my 73 with a 400 CID that likes to make heat. I have found during the summers when driving down the road the coolant temperature is 185 F when I stop at a light or driving slow in traffic the coolant temperature raises to 200 to 210 F. I think this is due to angle of...

73 A/C Issues?

My 73 has not had cold A/C air for the past four years. The A/C system was overhauled in 1999, new everything when the car received an on frame restoration. For 73 the A/C system had the VIR instead of individual components. Also, for the 73 year GM did not put a high pressure port in the Corvette. During th...
