A proposed New York law would make it mandatory that your automatically an organ donor unless you opt out. Believe me the one thing I try to persuade people to do is to become an organ donor .It's one of the greatest gifts that anyone could give .But I think it should be free choice .Any opinions ?

Got my electric bill for last month........$18.05 Talked to a friend who lives on the coast and he said that his bill was $500.00 for a month. Thats more than I pay a year......his house is on 5 acres, wooded redwood forest, 2500 sgft, with a well and a woodstove for heat........and a 500sgft apartment...

We have a couple of inches here in Virginia ( Tidewater) but it mainly rained all night. Just started to Snow an hour ago. Not too bad considering that Wash DC has over 30 inches on the ground. That should keep Congress away for a couple of days. I thing GOD was sending them and Obama a message !!
